On behalf of the WFNMB and Congress Organising Committee, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to join with your colleagues and associates to attend the 12th Congress of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology to be held 20-24th April 2018 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.The 12th Congress of the WFNMB is a must attend quadrennial event for nuclear medicine physicians, radiologists, medical imaging trainees, physicists, scientists, technologists, nurses, and the broader medical and scientific community. The Congress seeks to promote further global translation of molecular medicine incorporating the translation of basic laboratory research to clinical practice, establishment of clinical and technical standards, and the translation of molecular medical technology to developing countries for the benefit of patients worldwide.

The cutting edge, multidisciplinary scientific program will include an outstanding program of focused plenary sessions, continuing educations sessions, and large poster presentation sessions which will be both enjoyable and educational to attendees. I encourage you to plan your research for presentation as I am pleased to announce that there will be a number of travel assistance grants which will be awarded, courtesy of the Victorian Government. These grants are to assist those from developing countries to attend the meeting.
